Greetings from Waikiki

Hello to Vivace families and friends! We arrived in Honolulu on time today, to overcast skies and drizzle. It looked like home - until we stepped outside and felt the temperature! A balmy 84 degrees. On our way to the hotel the skies cleared, and Honolulu welcomed us. Our first day included a lei welcome at the airport, a walk to the beach, a trip through the International Market, a wondeful dinner at Duke's right on the beach, and time in the pool. We are tired and happy. Tomorrow we tour the I'olani Palace, Pearl Harbor, and present two concerts. More news to come.

Aloha Vivace!

Congratulations to Vivace, Beth Ann and Erik on the marvelous "Bon Voyage" concert they shared with us on June 20. The excitement and aloha spirit is building as we pack our bags and prepare to head off on our wonderful Hawaiian tour. My goal is to post blog entries and photos every day, time and internet connections permitting. So check back regularly and share our adventures with us!
